Wally Kuhns

Wally developed his work ethic at an early age on his grandfather’s farm in rural Pennsylvania. His passion and drive for business evolved soon thereafter as he worked in various family owned operations. These early experiences provided a leadership foundation and prompted him to serve in the US Army Reserves and attend Penn State University on a four-year Army ROTC scholarship. Later in his career he attended Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business where he earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development.

For over 20 years, Wally has thrived across multiple industries inside several Fortune 500 companies such as Air Products & Chemicals, Nabisco, Aramark, Johnson & Johnson, Rockwell, Edwards Lifesciences, and Cardinal Health. While at Cardinal Health Wally was instrumental with the spinout and stand-up of Carefusion (CFN), at the time a $3.5 billion publicly traded medical technology entity. Choosing to stay onboard with Carefusion, Wally held multiple leadership positions culminating as VP HR Business Partner for several global business units and corporate functions. In 2015, Becton Dickinson acquired Carefusion. At this juncture, Wally followed his ambition once again and launched an independent consulting practice.

As a result of varied career experiences, Wally has developed a well-rounded toolbox.  Highlights include C suite strategy facilitation, project leadership for enterprise talent development and acquisition integration efforts, and large-scale change management initiatives. He has a passion for partnering with leaders to design and implement strategies that deliver sustainable business results.  Wally is connected to the workforce and leads from the front.  He is equally comfortable operating in small or large organizations, stateside or abroad. When Wally is not motivating and helping others, he can be found in north county San Diego, CA with his wife, Teresa, and their twins, Mia and Nate.
